Still here but Jack's not fighting as hard!

People are like stained glass windows: they sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light within.--Elizabeth Kubler-Ross .

As you can see we have graduated to the final hairstyle of this adventure.

Jack is still running fevers on and off ( the doctor's believe that they are viral) and we want to take the safest path so we are hanging. We will go to the clinic tomorrow morning for a check but since we have arranged to have some work done on the house - taking our time on both sides makes sense..

It is hard for Jack because he is starting to blame Boston and the cold weather for any set back that he feels. I did remind him that the doctors and I are not keeping him here just to annoy him - we are all committed to the best outcome.

Do Not Quit
Author Unknown

When things go wrong as they sometimes will;
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill;
When the funds are low, and the debts are high
And you want to smile, but have to sigh;
When care is pressing you down a bit -
Rest if you must, but do not quit.

Success is failure turned inside out;
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt;
And you can never tell how close you are
It may be near when it seems so far;
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit -
It's when things go wrong that you must not quit.

Jack/Cher,
Thinking of you both as I write this, I can't help but realize this situation has been an opportunity for you to grow into one person. The "two shall become one"... a miracle is happening before our eyes.

Jack, everyone in Charlotte is sick with a flu, and our weather is crappy, not as cold, but crappy just the same...I have had a bug for three weeks now, and am fighting bronchitis, and haven't been out of Charlotte! Plenty of sick people here that you really don't need breathing on you until you are stronger...

IN OTHER WORDS, GET STRONGER, STAY A LITTLE LONGER, BLOW IN YOUR PLASTIC BONGER!!!!

Love yall,
T

Jackmon, I have been blogging you but the blogmaster keeps telling me I have the wrong password and its the only password I've ever had with you. Honest...Still praying that you'll find the strenth from God to know this will all be for your benefit and His glory. I expect nothing but a good report tomorrow and I hope this gets published. Always in our prayers and with love, Tedmon and Cami.

Jack...you look great! Sending you luck today for discharge from the cold land of Boston..It's supposed to be in the 60s here by the beach this week. Take your time getting home, though..it sounds like Charlotte has some real sickies (smile).

Cheryl,
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You've done an amazing job with my brother. I praise you! If I ever get sick, will you take care of me?

Bless you both,
Love,
Mary

Hi Jack,

I hope you're feeling better. I am sure it's not easy but you don't seem the kind to give up easy. After all if you can take on W..... bureaucracy anything else must feel like a breeze. I am sure you're missing the 5 th floor penthouse of CIC but Boston is probably not the worst place to be.

Take care

Philippe

Uncle Jack,
Well it’s a good thing you don’t have a lumpy head! Everyone is sick here in Boone town to. The Flu is spread all over apparently. Well I'm stressing out. I have three exams in ONE WEEK not including the three papers and the discussion board assignment that are due. I’m in the huge five story library right now studying for the pre-calculus test I have tomorrow. I also now have the stress of looking for another apartment. Ugh..Are landlords raised our rent $20 a month and told us it was because he hasn’t compensated for the insurance increase over the past 10 YEARS... Well just wanted to let you know that the hard work is paying off I have made straight A's so far and hopefully I can get a full ride scholarship to UNC-Chapel Hill. They have a great medical program so hopefully I can get it. I always wonder how you used to be in college, like where you used to live, where you worked, and how you got started in life. The biggest question I always wondered about is how on earth did you afford paying for 4 years of college.

Miss Ya and Get Well Soon
